The Benefits of Waking Up Early

The Benefits of Waking Up Early

Perhaps the single most life-changing thing you can do in life, the simple yet incredibly difficult act of waking up early.

Waking up early has been proven and acknowledged by all kinds of authorities from leaders in scientific research, to spiritual and religious experts and even down to your everyday average Joe from down the road, to be an absolute game-changer in changing your life.

The first thing to think about here is, what is the difference between how you feel when you wake up in the morning as opposed to the afternoon, regardless of how much sleep you’ve had? Shockingly enough, you will find that waking up in the afternoon will always feel worse than waking up in the morning, even if you secured more hours of sleep by doing so.

This is because the early hours of the morning possess special rays of sunlight which our bodies were designed to absorb upon the very beginning of our day. These rays of sunlight are lower in UV radiation compared to the afternoon sun, and gently gets warmer at the perfect pace as the sun rises.

Essentially, waking up early results in us feeling more ‘alive’, as a result of our physical bodies aligning with the natural cycle of life and the environment around us. As human beings, we were designed to revolve our days around the cycle of the sun, just as the Earth orbits around the sun.

Starting one’s day by exercising and walking outside in the early hours of the sunrise, particularly before 6am, will ensure that one receives the special rays of morning sunlight which is specifically engineered by the universe to wake up every cell in our bodies. No amount of ‘extra sleep’ or ‘coffee-drinking’ can replace this method of fully waking up for the day.

Moving out and about at the beginning of sunrise will eliminate toxins that you would not even know were inside you, and this in turn gives a unique clarity with it in return. As a result, you will find yourself able to access past memories that you thought had been forgotten, foresee a positive future through a stress-free mindset while envisioning realistic steps towards your goal, and yet still remain present in the moment as you take in the natural surroundings of the early morning from a pure state of mind.

If the mental and spiritual aspects of waking up early doesn’t sell it for you, there are an abundance of practical reasons to do it as well, for example, just having more time to yourself. Not only will you have quality time to really get to know yourself and your aspirations at this time, but you will also be able to get so much more done work-wise, and the quality of your work will be at a height you never thought could be so easily attainable.

And if all of that isn’t enough, waking up early will make you more attractive, inside and out, simple as that. This is because of the removal of toxins and increased vibrant energy from the early morning sun, you will find yourself looking and feeling refreshed with reduced eye-bags and an increased glow in your face and reduced acne and other skin-related issues.

Nevertheless, shallow reasons aside, waking up early is an absolute must-do routine for those who have already walked the path. The feeling cannot be described, only experienced, and we need to force ourselves through our bad thoughts deriving from bad habits that tell us to stay in bed repeating the cycle of late rises and late sleeps, by pushing ourselves through the negative thought-habits and into the light, towards a new and unimaginably better life.
